I also stopped into Anthropologie, and boy was that a mistake. I had to hold myself back from purchasing everything in sight. I'm especially in love with all of their craft books, journals, mugs, and kitchen accessories. Just being in there makes me so excited to have a well decorated, cozy home someday.

I learned a lot about being a friend when I was alone.
cardigan: f21, shirt: uo, skirt: zara, tights: h&m, ring, bag & watch: vintage
I didn't really do much today but I decided that's no excuse to be lazy with my outfit. I love this outfit because comfort wasn't compromised! Sooo comfy. I also decided to take pictures in my kitchen because the lighting was phenomenal.
Today I picked up my sister from work. We were supposed to go to the mall but she didn't get paid so we're going tomorrow. She's actually going to get the cardigan I'm wearing in these pictures. Not a very exciting day, but I'm soaking it all up because I know I'll be super busy once I get back to school.
Yesterday I had a sleep over with my friend Andie. We knew a huge snow storm was coming so we planned to stay in and fill out college transfer applications but OF COURSE that didn't happen. We're way to crazy together. We made vegetarian hamburger helper and we also picked up vegetarian corn dogs by Morningstar and OH MY GOODNESS they are so amazing. I have been craving them for so long, that seriously made my week. The day of the snow storm we just stayed in and then took on the extreme blizzard with Andie's tiny car to buy 'SIMS 2' game for her computer and I picked up 'SIMS City 4'. It was so worth the crazy drive.
BTW, the title of this post is actually lyrics from the song "Never Saw It Coming" by Tigers Jaw. I'm seeing them on the 29th and I can't wait! I saw them with a few other bands in the beginning of the school year last year and I've been loving them ever since. Everyone should check them out.
I go back to school Sunday and I don't know how I feel about it. Last year I couldn't wait, but I feel pretty comfortable at home this year. Let's just hope that spring semester is better than fall semester grade wise.
Oh yeah and just because I'd like to share this...
I painted my nails a pretty mint color. I honestly change my nail polish every other day. It just makes me so happy.

So this is the new year and I don't feel any different.
I turned 20 on January 2nd! A while ago I couldn't bare thinking that I would be turning twenty. I had this idea that I hadn't accomplished enough. I'm a fool. I've learned to stop comparing myself to others and that I am just fine where I am- steady and at my own pace.
Otherwise, I had a blast! I went to Boston with my sister and my best friend Andie to do some shopping and eat at my favorite restaurant, Grasshopper Vegetarian! My friend Kait met up with us at Urban Outfitters on Newbury Street and she spent the rest of the evening with us. It was really nice to spend my birthday with such lovely people.
We stopped to take pictures at Chestnut Hill before we actually got in Boston. If you live in Massachusetts and you haven't been to Chestnut Hill, which is basically Boston College campus, YOU MUST GO IMMEDIATELY! It is seriously a dream. Even more so the day that we went because it was really foggy and moody, perfect lighting for photography.
When we got to Newbury street of course my first destination was Urban Outfitters to take advantage of their $29 BDG jeans. Those jeans fit like they were made for me. I love the fact that they offer much longer inseams than usual jeans. I swear my legs are made for another planet. After Urban I basically ran to the new Forever 21. I've been waiting for sooooo long for that store to open, but their selection was unfortunetly very lackluster. After F21 we just walked down Newbury stopping in random shops. We went into American Apparel and I tried on this shirt in coral I have been lusting after for quite sometime, but it was a bit pricey and the fit was off so I held off. Then we went to H&M and I picked up a lovely black lace dress that is to die for and some black tights. You can watch my video on youtube to see the things I purchased plus a couple things my mom bought me.
Dress:Urban Outfitters, Tights: Target, Shoes: F21, Cardigan: F21, Headband: F21
All in all I had a wonderful 20th birthday celebration.
Oh yeah! Grasshopper was scrumptious as always!

What I Wore Today
Shirt: Madewell, BDG Jeans: Urban Outfitters, belt: Salvation Army, Minnetonka moccasins: online website I can't remember haha, bag: Salvation Army, rings: Forever 21.
I wore this out to take pictures with my sister Hannah and my friend Joey yesterday. Then I went to Grasshoppers, a vegan Chinese food restaurant in Allston. It's beyond divine. I was so full I couldn't even breathe, but it was totally worth it.
